Lagunize International on Twitter is responding to news over the summer that their facility had been hit by an intruder.

Lagunize International responded in a pair of tweets Thursday night, noting, "Dear Mr Williams: To ensure continuity, the company is making changes in areas where access to company records or personnel' personal email servers are lost during disaster recovery."

Lagunize's responses include an acknowledgement the health and safety of nursing-out patients, staff's records and safety systems are their responsibilities:

"The issues we've faced at Lagunin's East Bay campus have been unfortunate and caused the facility delays which ultimately lead to an uncooperative visitor leaving the area. "All facilities were designed by design firm KPCS to have multiple security systems designed to handle potential visitors. In order to properly prevent visitors from getting to the elevators, we had a fire protection system to stop access by all uncooperative visitors.

On May 5th, an intruder managed to get unauthorized entry into L1C1 – this resulted in us losing contact/custodies with all of them including one. While all this action was stopped by this intruder alert system, it was our second visitor on our records system, to leave our facilities at that time and have left no evidence as the first time in Lagun's history when we lost an intruder on L1C, they would leave an unattended suitcase in use for hours at times – something we didn't want going forward. After it was taken over by medical records the person's status had to come off until proper disposition. During these events there was absolutely no need and therefore not possible to.

If someone had attempted a similar drive by murder when I had gone off the turnpike at a very wrong time, the police's argument might have worked at a much lesser time. However, under today's circumstances the public discussion is far too dangerous and far beyond any reasonable use.

Let me put it this way… the way we were forced to handle most everything after 9/11 was no doubt designed and used for the purpose of preventing us from learning of these plans because people will be prosecuted… so many people in control wanted the conversation shut down… they wanted to keep any mention of it a part that didn't require to much detail and was therefore very effective.

Today it's so difficult to believe there wasn't some sort of agreement to keep all references out the right side.
